Sometimes the ironies and irrationalities of life are to hard pass by. This post is a collection of observations that I can’t seem to let go of.

I was taught that reading fiction requires “suspending our disbelief.”  Today we have to suspend our belief so that we can determine what is fiction.

The ultimate in discount shopping: The state of Arkansas scheduled two executions of death row prisoners a day for four days out of eleven because one of the lethal drugs they plan to use expires soon after that.

Now we see what happened to the two five-year-old boys in the sandbox arguing, “My truck is bigger than yours!”  Now  adults they are shouting, “My bomb is bigger than yours.”
